Case Study Apex 12

Urgent supply of low emission space heaters keeps project on-time.
The Project:
We were approached to help with space heating equipment to support first and second fix activities on a construction project.  Unusually cold and wet weather was putting the project schedule at risk.
Our Client:
Horizon Construction Group is an ISO 9001 Accredited company working in the construction sector.  Operating in East Anglia, the Southeast and London their portfolio includes projects with values of up to £10m.
The Issue:
Scheduled internal works required the building construction to be relatively warm and dry. However, due to the inclement weather, the natural ventilation was significantly reduced.  This created Health and Safety concerns for the client if their usual heating devices were to be used.
We reviewed the site conditions with our client to determine the amount of heat required and identified two types of infra-red heater that we could supply.  The first was an all-electric powered version while the second was powered by biodiesel (normal diesel can also be used).  We keep both versions of these heaters in our range and, after consideration by site the Health and Safety Officer, both versions were hired.  We were able to deliver these to site immediately so that the scheduled works could proceed without delay.
Our client was pleased with the performance of these machines and extended the hire beyond the period of the emergency.
Equipment Supplied:
AIRREX AH-720 electric infrared heater
AIRREX AH-300i biodiesel infrared heater
Our Summary:
We worked closely with our client to understand their needs and were able to identify a solution that fulfilled both the performance and Health and Safety challenges.
We were pleased to be able to demonstrate our ability to respond quickly to our client’s needs which enabled the internal building works to proceed with minimum delay.
Customer Feedback:
“The Target Plant team always offer a friendly and helpful service. Holding a wide range of kit, I can be confident that the machines received on site will be up to standard, arrive when agreed, and at competitive prices. Is this a direct quote or from them or something for them to approve?
– Buyer, Horizon Construction Group”

The AH-300i heater can run on Neste MY biodiesel, which is made from food waste, and on normal diesel and fuel oil.
Airrex AH-720 is a patented electric heating solution for efficient and comfortable heating. Instead of air, infrared radiation heats material, making the heat as pleasant as the warmth of the sun. Typical applications include terraces, balconies, outbuildings, guest houses, caravan tents, outdoor toilets, sauna cottages, BBQ huts, site huts, office spaces, summer cottages.
Airrex AH-720 electric infrared heater that is ideal for the efficient and pleasant heating of working areas, garages, offices, summer cottages, terraces and breakrooms, for example.
The Airrex AH-300i infrared heater produces safe infrared radiation. The heat produced by the infrared heater spreads evenly into the structures of the space or site to be heated. A separate fan is not needed. The heating effect is quick, and the patented oil burner and exhaust piping utilise practically 100% of the energy included in the fuel.
Airrex is low in emissions
Thanks to utilising the fuel completely as heating energy, the emissions of the Airrex heater are so low that separate exhaust piping outside the heated space is practically not needed. The heaters run on biodiesel made of renewable materials, ordinary diesel, or fuel oil.
Safety comes first
The Airrex infrared heater is very safe. The device has versatile safety systems. If the heater shakes, it is about to fall unexpectedly or a disturbance occurs in it, its comprehensive safety system immediately turns off the burner and disconnects fuel feeding.
Servicing and spare parts available
You can find all necessary spare parts for Airrex heaters on our shelf. If necessary, our service vehicle will arrive and service your heater anywhere in Finland. After product activation, a three-year warranty is granted for Airrex diesel heaters.
No need for an exhaust pipe in the Airrex AH-300i infrared heater
This heater does not emit burning smells or visible smoke. The AH-300i is ideal for garages, summer cottages and terraces. An exhaust pipe to the outside is only necessary when the heater is used in premises where people sleep. There is no need to connect a separate exhaust pipe to the Airrex AH-300i infrared heater when using the heater in garages, terraces, party tents, etc.
An infrared heater running on biofuel
The AH-300i heater can run on Neste MY biodiesel, which is made from food waste, and on normal diesel and fuel oil. In temperatures below 10 °C, winter-grade fuel must be used. The Airrex AH-300i heater is extremely inexpensive to use. On full power, the heater only uses about one litre of fuel per hour.
No fan – no dust
This infrared heater has no fan. The infrared radiation produced by the device heats materials instead of air, thereby also heating the air in the space. The infrared heat is distributed evenly in all directions and feels pleasant even right next to the heater. The infrared heat produced by Airrex AH-300i spreads more evenly than heat produced by a fan-equipped heater.
Quiet and easy to use
The heater is very easy to start using because fixed installation is not required. The heater is on castor wheels, which makes it easy to move where you want it. The Airrex AH-200i is extremely quiet at only 48 dB.
