The CAT33 is the perfect “pick-up-and-go” cable avoidance tool to detect the position of buried cables and pipes quickly and reliably time after time, preventing any costly and potentially dangerous or even fatal incidents. Minimal experience using a cable avoidance tool is required due to its simplicity and easy to operate functions. The CAT33 locator has 3 changeable modes: - Power mode - which is the quickest way to detect buried cables as it uses the signal created by the electrical current itself. Radio mode - this detects re-radiated or 'radio' type signals, which are commonly found on metal pipes and cables. Generator mode - used in conjunction with a SGA or SGV Signal Generator, or with a C-Scope Sonde for non-metallic pipe tracing Its robust exterior makes it ideal for dealing with the demands of construction sites, for all construction, civil and utility maintenance work. Partner this with the SGA or SGV Signal Generator for the complete cable locating and tracing package. Features such as the LCD meter, detachable loudspeaker and easy to operate one touch controls make this a simple yet effective piece of equipment for all levels of staff and an essential part of any site or workforce.
